2ND CALESTOUS JUMA SEMINAR SERIES

The 2nd Calestous Juma seminar was focused on Steering Science, Technology, and Innovation to achieve Sustainable Development Goals. Specifically, the seminar was showcasing best practices in the transformation of agriculture and fisheries sectors through the integration of STI; synthesize and reflect on the lessons learnt in the global pilot programme of the STI for SDG roadmaps in Africa; launch the STRINGS project's final report, and present the findings of the case study on STI pathways on fishing/overfishing in Lake Victoria basin. There were presentations of case studies on STI for SDG roadmaps. Finally, the seminar also discussed the role of STI in steering agri-food system transformation.
